 Oshkiigmong Gitigan, meaning “New Village Garden,” is a thriving community farm dedicated to sustainable agriculture, education, and food sovereignty. Through traditional Anishinaabe farming practices, we cultivate fresh produce, medicinal plants, and orchards, providing healthy food options while honoring our connection to the land.

What We Offer:

Oshkiigmong Sugar Bush

Honoring Tradition, Cultivating Sweetness

The Oshkiigmong Sugar Bush celebrates the sacred practice of maple syrup production, a tradition passed down through generations of Anishinaabe people. Every spring, we harvest and process ziinzibaakwadwaaboo (maple sap) with deep respect for the land and cultural teachings.

Our Offerings:
